In May 2024, 177 blockchain products secured over $1.11 billion in funding rounds, marking a decline of approximately 4.28% MoM from Apr 2024. Compared to the same month last year, when 122 deals totaled $931.9 million, there is a growth of about 19.57% YoY. Despite this decline, investor interest remains strong in the Base ecosystem and NFT sector, reflecting ongoing momentum within the blockchain investment landscape.
In May 2024, 177 blockchain products achieved over $1.11 billion in funding across 177 investment rounds. The most significant deal was clinched by Farcaster, which raised $150 million. Notably, 112 rounds were pre-Series A, involving 111 early-stage ventures gaining recognition.
