Yuan Han Li is a Senior Associate at Blockchain Capital and joined the firm in March of 2021. He conducts investment diligence and also supports our portfolio companies and DAOs.

Prior to Blockchain Capital, Yuan was the Co-President of Penn Blockchain—one of the world’s largest student-run blockchain organizations. While there, Yuan led all of Penn Blockchain’s governance activities in addition to overseeing recruiting and business development. Yuan also gained experience in traditional finance settings, both in private equity at Lone Star Funds—providing research and due diligence support for a number of deals in the upstream and renewable energy sector—as well as at Nine Masts Capital, a hedge fund, where he supported their exploration of market neutral trading strategies in crypto.

Yuan studied Computer Science and Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania, where he chose to drop out in his final year to commit his time fully to crypto. In his spare time, Yuan enjoys cooking, skiing, playing strategy games, and listening to classical music.
