Yin Cao is Founding Partner at Digital Renaissance Foundation, a digital financial advisory agency based in Asia and Europe. He is also the Chief Expert of Digital Finance of China Cinda Security, the biggest financial asset management company in China.

Formerly, He was a successful entrepreneur, he co-founded the Energy Blockchain Labs, the world first company focused on blockchain technology energy and green finance application in 2015 and sold the company in 2017.

He is one of the earliest advocator of the blockchain technology in China. He proposed and drafted the first national supportive policy for blockchain application in China in 2014, when he was the task force leader of Energy Internet Initiative of National Energy Administration. Mr. Cao has written several books, including Development of Energy Internet,Introduction of Energy Internet, he also has written a book "Internet+: National Strategic Action Roadmap" with Tony Ma, the Chairman of Tencent Group.
