Vangelis Andrikopoulos is currently doing research on how to scale the EVM (storage, execution, consensus) at Sei Labs. Previously at CoinFund.
Technological innovation fascinates me. I’m especially interested in crypto networks that make up the backbone of web 3.0.
Previously, I worked with Outlier Ventures on sourcing deals, doing deep due diligence and backing some of the best founders around the globe. I authored three papers on how blockchain, AI & IoT converge and shape different sectors. These include convergence on mobility, smart cities in cooperation with Smart Dubai and featured on Forbes, as well as on Energy which I presented at Event Horizon, Berlin.
Previously, I worked with Animal Ventures as a Research Team Lead where I explored the impact of blockchains on global supply chains and Startup Funding Club, an early-stage sector agnostic VC in London where I was responsible for the deal-flow and led investments in different sectors including space. Startup Funding Club now ranks in the top 5 most active angel & seed investors in the world in Pitchbook’s 2018 global league table.
As a volunteer I’ve worked with UCL entrepreneurs society and created the curriculum for Bloomsbury Ventures, a six-week program of lectures and workshops that take a deep dive into the world of venture capital. I’ve also been a Virgin Startup mentor and helped several startups with strategy, fund-raising and product development.
