Spiral is an independent, bitcoin-focused entity within the Block ecosystem of companies. We build and fund free, open-source projects that improve bitcoin’s privacy, security, UX, and ability to scale.
Though small, our reach is global, with employees and grantees distributed throughout more than 15 countries and counting. Our grant program alone makes it possible for more than 30 developers, designers, PMs, and creatives to work full-time on improving the bitcoin ecosystem.
