Ruttenberg Gordon Investments (RGI) invests across the capital stack through equity and structured investments in real estate, private equity, and alternative hard assets. To date, we’ve made over 100 investments totaling multiple billions of dollars of aggregate transaction volume.

Our real estate business primarily focuses on acquiring high quality assets at a discount to replacement cost. We target well located properties in attractive markets and partner with established sponsors that have proven track records. Our most frequent investment is multifamily; however, RGI opportunistically invests across all real estate asset classes. While our target transaction size is $10-60M, we have successfully invested in both larger and smaller real estate projects and portfolios.

Outside of real estate, we make investments in private businesses ranging from pre-revenue to late-stage pre-IPO. We are sector agnostic and have invested across multiple industries including technology, media, entertainment, retail, consumer, financial technology, natural resources, industrials, and education technology.

In addition to equity investments, we have also provided debt secured by both traditional and esoteric assets.
