Reuben Bramanathan is General Partner at IDEO CoLab. Formerly, Product Lead at Coinbase Asset Management, a new division of Coinbase focusing on Index Funds for crypto-assets. He led the creation of Coinbase Index and manages the operations of Coinbase’s funds. He is a former lawyer who has advised clients on legal and regulatory aspects of bitcoin and blockchain technology since 2014. He wrote and lectured the world’s first postgraduate course on the Regulation of Digital Currency, at the University of Nicosia, and co-authored the industry-leading legal research paper The Blockchain Token Securities Law Framework in 2016.
