Nimrod Lehavi is Entrepreneur, investor, ex founder & CEO Simplex - acquired by Nuvei (NASDAQ: NVEI).

Kicking off his entrepreneurial career in the late 90’s as a self taught software developer, transforming over the years to an experienced leader. A hacker at his core, Nimrod seem to find solutions to any new and unique challenge.

After 15 years solving technical / business / product challenges for an extensive range of different and complex businesses and industries at Lehavi Solutions Software boutique, Nimrod stumbled upon the bitcoin white paper in 2011 and was immediately hooked.

Nimrod was trying to purchase bitcoin when it was under $10 but found it to be challenging, and there was no way to easily purchase with your bank card. So he decided to build it and in 2013 Simplex was born. As the founder and CEO of Simplex, Nimrod lead hundreds of employees throughout the world. Simplex became the de facto industry standard in enabling fraud free onramps and offramps to the crypto ecosystem until it's purchase by Nuvei (TSX:NVEI) a Canada based payment behemoth, for ~$300MToday Simplex continues to grow as a Nuvei company, continues leading the way to develop and massively expand and evolve the entire crypto ecosystem and growing to its potential.

Nimrod is one of the industry OGs and was a board member of the Israeli Bitcoin Association, since its inception. Nimrod is a thought-leader and regular speaker at leading industry conferences worldwide, as well as an advisor to well-selected industry startups and an investor in many others.
