Michael Cotton is the co-founder of Meld Ventures, a VC dedicated to backing the next wave of blockchain entrepreneurs, and Meld Gold, a company revolutionising how gold is bought and sold. He is also the co-founder of Algomint- a project that aims to allow assets to move between different blockchains seamlessly.

Within the Gold and precious metals industries I founded Imperial Group and Meld Gold. Meld is delivering a technology solution that streamlines the precious metal supply chain all the way through to the end users creating efficiencies, higher trading volumes, increased transactions, security to the industry, improved margins and trust. 

In the Numismatic industry I have had success in securing the future of numismatics by offering advanced and innovative forms for buying and selling. Within the numismatic and bullion space I led several deals including the acquisition of Bullion Deposit Australia, Universal Coin Company, Melbourne Mint Coins and negotiated for Imperial Group to become the official Australian representative for PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service), the largest bullion & numismatic certifier in the world in terms of both quantity and quality.
