Michael Ashby is an accomplished hedge fund professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial sector. He serves as CEO and CIO at AlgoQuant, a global quantitative trading firm. AlgoQuant team runs internal capital, allocates to external managers and is building an asset management unit. 

Previously, he served as the Head of Digital Assets Strategic Implementation at Point72 Asset Management, where he led the development and deployment of the company's digital asset platform across quant, macro, and ventures strategies.

Throughout his career, Michael has demonstrated a strong track record of success, playing a pivotal role in driving growth, managing relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives across various investment strategies and products. Prior to his role at Point72 Asset Management, he held positions at esteemed firms such as Meraki Global Advisors, Thunderbird Partners, and Ziff Brothers Investments.
