Joeri van Geelen is Founding Partner at NxGen, PAID Advisor. Over the past ten years, he has held various commercial and management roles across the globe, working high-value contracts with Shell, Siemens, Statoil/Equinor and Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs across the Energy, Supply Chain and Digital Technology industries. He has earned multiple degrees and certifications in International Business and Management from top tier universities including Harvard Business School, Rotterdam School of Management, Norwegian School of Economics, University of Groningen and the University of Nottingham. In addition to his educational attainments, Joeri has also earned an advanced diploma in Procurement and Supply from The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Through Joeri’s role as Managing Partner APAC at Prysm Group (economic consulting firm led by Harvard PhD economists specialized in distributed ledger and blockchain technology) he built up valuable experience in token economics, incentive design, consortium governance, consensus governance and market structure. In addition to the above, Joeri is also equipped with a wide range of knowledge and experience in contracts, procurement, negotiation and fundraising.

During the last few years, Joeri has emerged as an industry thought leader with frequent global speaking engagements at leading Blockchain conferences. Joeri also serves as advisor to various Blockchain start-ups and mentors for Plug & Play Tech Center, New Energy Nexus and F10 FinTech Accelerator.
