The Ethereum London meetup was started by Stephan Tual (co-founder & CCO of Ethereum) in the Punch & Judy pub in January 2014 with a mighty 39 attendees.
Since then, the group has seen non-stop growth and now has over 8,000 members. OG (original gangster) members have gone on to build Ethereum, Ethereum Name Service, Parity, Colony, Swarm, BnktotheFuture, Jaak.io, and Kickback amongst others.
