Anthony Cheng is Partner and Head of Investment of Newman Capital. Prior to Newman Capital, Anthony had management & operating experience across the consumer technology vertical. Most recently, Anthony was the founding team and COO of MARK AR, a social augmented reality startup partnered with Google. Earlier in his career, Anthony was the Head of Monetization for Machine Zone, where he led Game of War - Fire Age becoming #1 top grossing game globally with more than $2.8 billion in revenue. Anthony began his career in the technology investment banking division of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in San Francisco, where he focused on internet, digital media and gaming coverage. He advised a number of clients on equity & debt financings and M&A transactions. At SunTrust, Anthony worked with companies such as Uber, Activision Blizzard, and others. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.
