Aaron Schnarch is Senior Advisor at Anchorage Digital. Formerly, CEO of Coinbase Custody. Experienced CEO and GM across Digital Assets and Traditional Finance institutional products:

- Leader of the world’s largest Custody business & Prime Brokerage platform as Vice President of Product for Coinbase
- Experienced in leading a regulated Bank/Trust Company as CEO and Manager of the Board of Directors for Coinbase Custody

Demonstrated ability to mobilize an entire organization to build and scale products including both “0 to 1” and businesses with product/market fit. Significant experience in engaging with regulatory bodies globally, senior policy makers and large audiences (e.g. Milken Institute, Messari Mainnet) 

Proven leadership in capital markets (front-, middle- and back-office systems) and Digital Assets/ cryptocurrencies (custody, stable coins, staking/liquid staking, decentralized finance; tokenization/RWA, structured products, trading/SOR) across public and private companies. 

Past experience as an entrepreneur and co-founder, including building an ed-tech start-up to rapid growth and acquisition within 3 years. Former Special Ops commander with tenacious execution capabilities and cryptographic hands-on experience.

Significant M&A experience including pre-deal thesis formulation, due-diligence, negotiations, and leading an integration management office. Key deals include the acquisition of ITIVITI from Nordic Capital ($2.55B) and Customer Communications from DST Systems ($410M).

Certified attorney. Hold an MBA and Executive Education from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a JD and interdisciplinary studies dual-major at Hebrew University's most prestigious Honors Program (equivalent to France’s École Normale Supérieure).

Former professional concert pianist and composer with ability to develop and refine creative ideas.
